happythankyoumoreplease

This is my first post on the Mundane Brilliance blog. I haven't even really started writing the book yet, but I want to give this a shot instead of being too afraid to risk putting myself out there. I mean, that's exactly what writing, and especially blogging, is - just putting myself out there for everyone in the universe to see, or rather judge.

All that aside though, this blog isn't about me. It is about Him. It is about learning what it means to live an ordinary life in an extraordinary way. Depending on whether you are open to optimism or not, you may think that attempting such a feat is impossible, or at the very least, exhausting. And honestly, at times I do too. But it seems that I can't stop trying.

Tonight I watched a film called happythankyoumoreplease. The title kind of justly describes what I'm going for right now. Trying to be happy, grateful and aware of the possibilities of more to life than just waking up, coffee, breakfast, work, lunch, work, traffic, errands, dinner, tv or reading and sleep. There is so so much more. Ask for it, search for it, grab onto it, look high or low for it. The more truly is worth it.
